Tutorial, Lee's Calender : December

December is Winter Style Fashion. Therefore a blue color will be suit the show the whole mood of the calender. Actually i am using same technique for both calender, therefore i skip some of the part. Let start without wasting time.

Word Design
Create and arrange the words '12 December', 'Winter' and 'quotes' with Illustrator. Transfer to photoshop and group them. Name as words.

Background Design
I find a beautiful background for this calender, therefore just place the picture in the file 12, name the layer as background. Transparency set as luminosity.

Background Pattern
I download some snowflake through the http://www.brushesdownload.com/ .Therefore create a new layer then use brush tool and place randomly the snowflake to create and nice background pattern. name the layer as pattern. Set the capacity as 45%.

Logo
This part is quiet easy. Just use the brush tool, adjust the size of brush to 2000px. Place it on right side of the art work.

Background Picture
Same as before, just crop the like like it is hand-cut from the magazine and put in the left side of the art work. Then group them and name as background picture.

Model

Crop the model with selection tool and eraser tool. Name the layer as model.

Calender
Create a boxes and calender with illustrator. Transfer them to photoshop and place and the right side of the art work. Name the boxes layer as boxes and calender layer with calender. Change the transparency of boxes to pin light.

Final Calender
This is the final calender, sorry because skip many part of the process because writing the same thing repeatedly is really boring and waste of time. However, hope you enjoy it, lol!!
